I do. Somewhere. I'll try and dig it out
The mechanic mentioned uneven tyre wear so I guess that might be it, but I don't trust them 100% as they seem to fish for more work

Nice to see a Lhasa Green Mk2. Pretty rare in that colour.

Bushings OK? Sometimes that sort of stuff gets missed in an alignment.

Asked them about that and he said he checked all of them and they were all good. Quite something on a 10 y.o. car that's done 210k+ miles

Nostalgia, one of my favourite cars on gran turismo back in the day.
The Honda garage-specific music still plays in my brain while looking at that screenshot.

The only aerodeck civic is the MK3 and it is the bestest...the rest are pale imitations. It could even be classed as a shooting brake.
EDIT: Added a photo and took ages to find a photo, I thought mine was an aerodeck. Between the rear lights it had civic with aerodeck underneath. Had the same vtec engine the same as CRX.

Had my catalytic converter stolen off my beloved 06 CR-V in NW10, so annoying. What's the best way to deal with this? Get a cheap one online and fit it with a shield? Sell it on without one or scrap the car (it's way too nice for that!).... what a bummer

How much damage has been done to the exhaust?
-
• #62086
not much I think, but lambda sensors taken and some other bits. Local garage calculated repair all in at 800 if one sensor gone, 900 with both gone

They also said all shields or security devices are a gimmick, which kind of makes me think I need to look for a new car

Looking up the mk3 civic areodeck, I forgotten about the accord areodeck POP up lights so awesome

Speak to @Constable_Savage he in the no.
£900 looks alot for an 06. At a guess they haven't looked to see what is missing.

I sent them pics so they had a quick look, but obviously it's the neighbourhood garage so not the most competitive for sure.
Thanks for the help though!

This is me returning a customer's Prius for the second time in 12 months. We didn't fit a Catloc the first time his cat was stolen but he got one fitted subsequently. It got stolen again and we fitted another cat and a Catloc.
I would suggest check your insurance and see whether you get it sorted or they do or they might write it off for you. This might be the best option financially. If it's fixed it might happen all over again and again ad infinitum.

Can you go through your insurer? Might be a write off :/

wow, that sucks. Thanks for the info, very useful.
Just out of interest, how much do you charge for fitting a catloc? -
• #62094
Probably could, just wondering if I would fuck up my premium that way
-
• #62095
Oh yes as you have made a claim, so more likely to make more. This is insurance logic.

Anyone got an i3?
I’m tempted By the second hand values , carbon fibre tub etc

'I have this question too'

Sorry I don't know but it was an insurance claim so it won't have been cheap, that's just the way it is. I don't know what your insurance excess might be but I think £200-300 for a cat is probably about right. Obviously deals can be done but I would suggest try for a quote from Kwik Fit or local tyre and exhaust centre as they must be doing a "roaring" trade.

A friend of a friend has one, I really like them. I'd be tempted by one for my commute at some point

Can I legally drive my car to the garage ( ~7 Miles) the catalyst? It is obnoxiously loud but from what I can read it shouldn’t be dangerous.
Have you got a printout of the "after"?
