I got the Hori split pad for the Switch as I mostly use it hand held these days. It's so much better than the stock joycons, it actually fits my hands.

You mean it isn't all side quests and sneak kills?
Might have to fire it up again... -

bought a board game called Wingspan recently,
Fantastic game.
In other news, anyone tried the Medium yet? Apparently it's more silent hill than anything else...

Bought control on sale ahead of the ps5 uplift and now it's the free game of the month, got to be the 4th time this has happened to me. Not even downloaded it yet.
According to this you can get a refund up to 14 days from purchase if you haven’t downloaded yet.

Used to with the first couple of releases. Great online but AI beyond shocking. Has anything changed with newer editions?

A few of us are playing BB2, awaiting the third edition releasing later. Just wondering if anyone wanted in on a league.

Butter Royale on Apple Arcade is surprisingly good.
No ads, no micro-transactions and a super quick Battle Royale (most games are less than 2-3 mins).
Lot's of fun.
Using the backbone controller is great too.

My ongoing catchup of Assassin's Creed continues, finished off Syndicate last night. It was fine, felt a bit cartoony compared to the previous games which I didn't like and the characters were a bit hit and miss, I liked Evie but Jacob was just a knob, felt like they tried to have a character arc and big realising moment point for him with Sequence 8 but it just seemed a bit too heavy handed. The recyled NPCs were a lot more obvious this time around too which was a shame. I liked the 'unique kill/assistance/sneak' things that some of the missions had, though it did make them all quite easy and there wasn't a lot of options for each mission, just one of each that you could do. Possibly also quite easy because I pretty much levelled up completely before I had got to the 4th sequence so was pretty much overpowered for the whole game.
Had expected to get through it last night so ordered Origins at CEX yesterday for click and collect and picked it up at lunch today, installing it now ready to play after work. Looking forward to seeing this one in action as I understand it was a pretty hefty gameplay overhall with more of an RPG feel to it. I think I prefer the games set further in history rather than the more 'modern' settings of the games since III as well. I haven't liked the outside of the animus story much with Unity and Syndicate and how disconnected it is to the player, just cutscenes and talking so hoping that's changed back to some playable modern day scenes with Origins.

51st run of Hades today with no grand victory. Been within a couple hundred hp of the end a few times but no joy. RnG is a bastard but keeps every run distinct. Am I just shit? Should I just turn on God Mode?

I struggled for ages then it just started to click. Not losing all my death defiance on Theseus and the Minotaur took a while. Just keep on plugging away and hope for a good boon combo.
Have you unlocked all the keepsakes?

Depending on the RNG sometimes I can't even get past the hydra, especially with short range weapons

Any flight sim 2020 players on here? got it recently and I have to say it’s phenomenal.

Yeah, since release but the novelty has worn off somewhat.
Looking forward to London getting the photogrammetry treatment, hopefully next week.

Yes, there are some glaring errors in the centre of London,Buck palace looks like a building site at the mo...
i dunno, the appeal is more about watching your rube-goldbergy plots unfold in grisly detail. savescum away.
