Picking up my new M1 Macbook Pro from work this week and looking forward to seeing how it performs, it might well tempt me to shift my current 2012 i7 Mac Mini (last to be manually upgradable and already with dual drive) while it still holds decent value... Madness or the natural evolution of things?
I mostly use it for Lightroom and Logic Pro, both of which are already native M1 (though I dread to think how third party plugins might work on Big Sur/M!...) plus will probably be doing more video stuff for which I could forgo Adobe and go FCX or Resolve (both of which are M1)
