Take it from me, it's a f-ing delight compared to Canvey Island!
Good boot fairs all round from memory though.

Amusingly my dad was a regular fixture at every boot fair along the a13/a127 (I was dragged along to many as a kid) and he was also in a childhood band on canvey island that later became Dr Feelgood.

When the Feelgood's played around the local jaunts they even ventured over to Kent to get a broader horizon complete with their equipment in an old pram they bought at a Jumble Sale
