I had a Saris H3 for a day - it was good, but my kids managed to knacker the power socket within 90 minutes by tripping over the cable.
I got it at the end of 2020, it got collected by Sports Direct on the 15th, and I've heard nothing back from them since.
It was nice and quiet whilst it worked!

DC Rainmaker, one stop shop if you want to compare models.
I have a Saris H3. Cannot say a bad word. It's only as loud as my bike is dirty. If I'm in ERG, clean chain and the right gear it's only the sound of the chain moving. DC called it correctly the RPM is worked out internally so it takes about 3-5 seconds to be 100% accurate sometimes but with a cadence sensor attached to my crank I've never had an issue. Power and RPM is read immediately.
I expect this is a bag of worms. I chose the H3 because it was available and on sale last year which made it affordable and accessible. Have not regretted getting it.

Saris H3 - only had it a week but it’s great! The deal at Sports Direct was very good but I missed it :(. Got it from Fawkes, delivered in 2 days.

Very happy with my kickr core (it only arrived yesterday but is a huge step up from my Tacx vortex smart)
Lots of discussion on the turbo thread.
All,
I'm about to sign up to ZWIFT and I'm planning my first dive into direct driver turbo trainers .
I've read a few reviews but can anyone recommend anything please?
Thanks.
