A round of applause for Pete Buttigieg who is confirmed as Biden's Transport Secretary.
Buttigieg was mocked by pundits for only ever being the Mayor of South Fork Indiana,
but, after realising he would not win the nomination, he made countless appearances on hostile media, and aquitted himself admirably in the clips I have seen.
Team player, media savvy. The 13 Republican Senators who voted against his confirmation might just be obstructionist or anti-LGBTX.
Assuming he can find financial backers he could be around for a long time.
