How much slack with all the spacers and preload doobry removed? Shouldn't be much. Could fill a tiny amount with narrow plastic BB/PF30 spacers. Anything larger a wave washer could handle. Not sure there's enough space with outboard cups for the preload doobry.

I've had the same issue with a Wheels Manufacturing T47 BB on a GXP crank, in that it needed a shit load of spacer. The Rideworks one I had fit perfectly. maybe they've not used the proper shell width dimensions

Those are the internal cups, no? The outboard cups look like CK/HT2 cups.
Either way, with what you have you mount it the same as if it was in a PF30 cup or BB30 and use the preload doobry to take up the slack.

Thanks. I don’t really want to fit another after spending £90 on this one.

Wash your mouth out.
looks like you need some 30mm diameter spacers to take up the slack

He does, yes, in the same way he'd need some if it was going in a standard BB30/PF30 shell.

The outboard one looks like this.
Had the same issue but the other way around on a mate's trek where the outboard one ended up too wide.
Not sure how many spacers you'll need sorry. Not a very helpful comment at all in fact. Ah well.

sorry, yes not sure why I said outboard!?
that makes sense I'll revisit the instructions. Still think I may need another spacer? these were used on a Cannondale Slate which I think is BB30a - slightly wider?

thanks, happy for the input

Yep BB30a is like 5mm wider, 72mm overall I think. All of it is on the drive side, hence the a for asymmetric.

Brilliant - just need to find that 5mm spacer...

Ask your LBS for a few assorted spacers, we're always hoarding

Thanks everybody for help. Found a couple of 2.5mm spacers in my spares and seem to fit and no play. I think the spacers on the non drive side should be next to shell though!

Any help much appreciated:-
trying to fit a chainset into my new Singular Kite frame which as a T47 BB. I've installed a Wheel Manufacturing outboard BB and trying to install a used chainset from my Cannondale Slate but struggling and the Sram online documents do not mention T47
Anybody help with number/type/size of spacers required? It comes with the circular preload 'thingy' which is installed on the none drive side
