  • I did actually see that -are they legit sellers? I saw a very cheap Makita impact driver on there with a weird colour which raised alarm bells about authenticity!

  • Fwiw: I use a Makita DTD152Z daily and I have nothing bad to say about it. I think I usually pay around £50 for them. They do some horrible special edition colours at times: Purple, white, black etc.

  • I have had a DTD152 for a few years now, really want to upgrade it, but this thing refuses to die, I have so far:

    1. Run over it with a tractor
    2. Dropped it into the bottom of a 3ft muddy puddle
    3. Used it to remove lorry wheels, to the point it got so hot I physically couldn't hold it
    4. Dropped it from the top of 2 story scaffolding

    And the bloody thing keeps plodding along, impressively\annoyingly well made
