Looks great! You must be really pleased. I made the mistake of showing this to my girlfriend and now she expects me to create something similar for her, despite her not really being interested in bikes and me having absolutely no painting skills/patience.

In my experience that's just how spray.bike comes out. You can flat it off with fine grit sandpaper before clear-coating over the top, but it's a faff.
Totally depends on what you're after, but it's definitely much easier for amateurs to use than normal paint. I've done a few small components using it and had great results.

I used montana spray paint for my previous bikes and it went on beautifully and easy enough.
Though I did take a week or so to do the whole process and even after that it wasn't that tough of a paint job.

+1 for lacquer. Used these sprays before, found easily chips. A high gloss lacquer will make the bike look more juicy.

I wonder if anyone on here has experience using one of those 2 part lacquers that are supposedly far more hard wearing? I've always wanted to try but been scared off by the extreme cancer death warnings on the safety datasheets

the painting work is amazing,
the only thing i could change, is the crankset, for a black one. yeah but i do understand, like that it match the seatpost/stem/handlebar. -

The details are crazy can't compete with the technique ! Funny to see the same idea emerge nearly at the same time .

Pedals upgrade .. Soon i will cut the fork steerer even more to get rid of this spacer, then the final touch will be a nukeproof red anodized seat post collar and holdfast OG straps .

Hey very nice thx , in total i'll say an hour of actual spraying + 8 hours masking (god damn it was long!) so about 9 hours of work but of course days of drying time . I let one night in between the layers , maybe it isn't necessary but i'm a lil' paranoid .
