Cheers, yeah just good to get it on the board. This one I wasn’t worrying about a time and I imagine that will be the case for some - would be nice to post a pb in one of them. Would love to go sub 3:15. Half marathon is a really good distance I think so sounds like a nice plan. As the month goes on you might find that you swap one for a 15 and make the other longer, as it will mean you can try some new routes.
Well done for getting on with it though, even if it felt like a bit of a slog. Really interested to hear how each one plays-out through the months for you. Are you bothering worrying about times etc or just playing it by ear on the day?
I’ve signed up for the 200km Feb thing on Strava and am thinking of splitting it into two 21.1k runs at night, at each end of the week with a short midweek lunch run. Never run more than 22k in one go so hoping to be able to squeeze out a marathon in March if I’m not injured.
