Wow forgot Redchurch still existed

Didn't they screw over a load of investors or something?
-
• #9904
Yeah they did some crowd funding then swiftly went under. No idea who owns them now.

Used to be a great little taproom above the old brewery in Bethnal Green, dj, darts & open late. Don’t think I’ve been since the overexpansion & the mixed ferm brewers leaving

Cans aren't keepers imo, else I'd be saving this a while.
It is tasty and hits the spot. Sweet but not over the top with the lactose (Brewdog Layer Cake take note).
I think it is a slightly changed recipe?

Last of the Christmas leftovers. The marketing blurb says “Caramel and shortbread notes balanced by resinous hops and light, lasting fruitiness.” I’d say it’s a tasty and slightly gassy coffee stout.

The Redchurch pack came today. Have enjoyed the first two. The IPA delivered a punch and is surprisingly malty. The blonde is a saison and is absolutely delicious. Very dry.

Any others that are as good?

Never too soon for that meme!
I've been drinking Erdinger Pikantus Weizenbock, which I'd not had before; what with the sweet darkness and all the banana esters it's quite Dubbel-y, in a good way.
