It's gonna be a tough year. I'm on a similar hunt for a 56. I called around the other day asking about Caads, and someone at Sigma said they're not getting any new deliveries until 2022, saying Cannondale were sold out at the source. Someone at Tredz told me the new bike prices are due to go up from tomorrow, with the added import costs.

Yeah it’s a weird one. I was going to order an Ultimate but there’s no stock all year. Had a similar struggle to find a Caad, Supersix or Tarmac in my size. Crazy scenes with some of the price hikes too!
Considering a build but groupsets seem equally hard to come by atm.

Isn’t @hoops selling a nice 54 road bike in Bristol?
-

I’m selling an Open WI.DE.... which is pretty far from a road bike I’m afraid!

Nice bikes but not the speed machine I’m after. If only it was an Open MIN.D.

Also, the reason there is a huge shortage of bikes at the moment is because there is a global shortage of shipping containers currently.... it’s effecting pretty much all the big manufacturers. There is a huge amount of stock sat in boxes in the far east, the problem is that it’s just not possible to get it shipped to where it’s needed currently. To add to this the lack of planes in the sky has made air freight prices go absolutely insane, so no one is shipping large consignments via air as it is far too expensive currently.
It’s unlikely that in-stock availability across most brands, sizes, and price points which was the norm before the pandemic will return until well into 2022...... and as you’ve noticed this is also the case with components.
Blame Amazon, basically.

Blame Amazon and all the hipster gaffs turning those vital shipping containers into shops and restaurants 😂
-

Most of those ones you see being used for retail are specifically manufactured for that specific use these days! They’re not actual shipping containers anymore.

I have this Canyon Ultimate CF SL 8 in Medium that I'm considering selling as it's slightly too small for me. (Should have got bikefit before buying bike!)

what size? obvs deference to orignial poster if they have reached out
Wanting to upgrade my current ride and the limited stock of new bikes is making it a challenge.
I’m looking for:
Carbon / Titanium (though I do like a Caad)
54cm / medium frame (I’m 5ft10)
Ultegra groupset or equivalent
disk brakes (would consider rim)
decent wheels
Ideally looking for a complete bike, but please shout if you've got a tidy frameset
Budget is flexible for the right bike.
Based in Bristol but willing to travel when restrictions are lifted. Postage also an option.
