Haha I actually did notice the same thing, I was way more lenient with my photos. I'm claiming because it was a test roll it was fine to go through it that quickly 😉

I think I’d like the Fuji 16mm F1.4 if anyone has one they would like to move on.

Afraid I sold mine when I got the X100V but can confirm it’s a very capable lens, worth the investment IF you use that focal length. I do miss the 1.4 from time to time compared to using the 16-55 2.8. Also, no distortion on the 16mm. I’m on the lookout for an 8-16 2.8 myself.

Thanks for the heads up.
Really is a good bit of kit. USB and 12v charger.
Only draw back is I got sent a a pair of aftermarket batteries and charger for the canon, and found the power cable for the sony. Sods law.

I’ve got the 16-55 2.8, which is a nice lens but a bit of a beast, I tend to leave it on the XT-2, whereas the X-Pro3 is the camera I pickup when leaving the house.

Belts and braces eh?

It’s a lovely lens, with a lot more character than the 2.8 prime. It’s big, though!

I think I’m going to get one, I’ve been thinking about it long enough.

Same size as the F1.4 23mm no?
-
• #1836
Don’t have one to compare, but I believe it’s similar

Not quite

I’ve the metal hood on it too which makes it quite chunky

Anyone want 3 Sony NP-FW50 'inspired' batteries, think A6xxx series, some of the older A7 series i believe.
All three hold charge (as far as i know), haven't used them for a while. They charge etc when tested.
Just need to cover postage, so about £5.

I’d say yes please but not sure I even use my Sony enough to warrant a spare battery

Anyone interested in buying a Nikon D300 body? Just trying to have a tidy up and should really sell some of my older camera stuff on.
Also have a Nikon Tamron 90mm macro lens and an 18-200VR lens. Plus probably a bunch of other Nikon bits.
No idea what current prices are for this sort of thing, but happy to sell for ebay price minus a bit. -

Might be interested in the 90mm

I'll try and get stuff organised and take photos, etc, it's in really good shape. Great lens, have taken some of my best pictures with it, but have switched to Sony so should really move it on rather than leaving it gathering dust in a drawer. I have some cheap extension tubes I can throw in with it as well if you're going to use it for macro.
Found an example shot I took with it -

Anyone got a bridge camera they're looking to shift? Something akin to a Canon SX500. GF is after something compact with a decent zoom, doesn't have to be too modern but 16MP or so would be ideal.

Was going to say fuji finepix s8200, buy cheap as there is an issue with the on off switch sticking that needs the camera taking apart to fix or replace. Runs on aa batteries too.

I have done some for a couple of practices. Not frequently as it is not my main job. How come?
-
• #1849
Do it. I don’t shoot often enough to need them at the moment.

I do some interiors for a few clients. But it’s not my main commercial focus, which is more still life.
Yea this is all fine and dandy until you realize shooting film like that gets expensive quite quickly.
🙂
YMMV of course, but I did find that shooting in AF all the time makes me way too trigger-happy, it was hard not to shoot it as if it was digital, so to say.
Maybe I just couldn't handle the responsibility!
