  • So are you denying the possibility that there are some good police officers in the US who try to do a good job despite the inherent and deep-seated problems in many police forces? And if you think that anyone who joins the police, regardless of their motivation, is evil and corrupt, how do you propose that the law should be enforced? Or is it better to have no law enforcement at all?

  • If someone looks at the US police force and decides "that's for me" then they're contributing to the problem, despite best intentions to not do any murders themselves. I don't belive the theory of law enforcement is corrupt but as it is at the moment it's unaccountable and unsuited for the job.

  • So in your view there are, by definition, no police officers in the US who joined the force for decent and honourable reasons and who are fundamentally good people?
