Would anyone help me out on this Roberts ? Does this look like a legit 753r frame, also is it too far gone? Size is spot on yet the rust part might be especially dangerous on a 753 frame? Unfortunately cannot see it in person.

I think I'd pass, partly on condition but mostly because 753 and farm gate is not a good mix. I'd be the first to say that most modern frames are far stiffer than they need to be, but it's equally the case that 753 can be insufficiently stiff to make a nice ride.

Thank you, never thought about it this way... It's "just" a 60/57 cm which is what i ride and the asking price is 400 eur...plus of course a reapray if the frame is sound...
