Yeah. At some point, this house had nice fittings. You can tell by the state of the plaster around the existing fittings. I assume they were all removed when the place was sold at some point prior and replaced with these basic bitch £2 ceiling roses. So far I've replaced the lounge, kitchen, office upstairs and the main bedroom (without electrocuting myself).
But I'm not sure about the above-the-stairs type lights. Whether to go for a semi flush or flush fittings because the ceilings aren't super high.
Lights were not the previous owners forte (I don't think anything was TBH, other than slowly ruining what was a nice house) as when we picked it up not one of the ceiling zits in both bathrooms worked.

We don’t have the tallest ceilings. Currently have these beauties...
