I'm on about 40 runs and fought Hades a few times but not beat him yet.

Beat Hades many times.
Pushing Heat atm. On Heat 7.
Story is amazing and opens up offering new surprises even after 100s runs.

Tangentially to the Hades chat, Dead Cells is currently free to play on Switch for a few days and also reduced to around £10

Enjoyed Dead Cell very much
Until Hades.
Supergiant Games are pretty beautiful.
Transformer looked so cool -

Yeah Transistor isn't exactly the sort of game I normally go for, but that art style and soundtrack got me hooked.

Apparently all their games are hand drawn by the same woman, Jen Zee
The 2d images of the gods in Hades are all beautiful. Nyx is currently my favorite

I'm close to buying Cuphead for the switch. I've got it on PC but I never use it anymore. Cuphead if beautiful but I hate it, also love it. I should probably finish the Crash remake first.

If I can be bothered to connect a game pad, I can now play cuphead in the Tesla. Though why I'd want to do that is anyone's guess.
I'd be surprised if it was easy to play on the Switch. Not like the position is really geared towards twitchy games.
Also - I fucking hate it. Really highlights how shit I am at video games these days.

I only what you mean about the buttons, I really struggle with the shoulder buttons too because my fingers keep pressing them by accident. Cuphead only uses a few buttons through so should be alright. I also hate it, it takes like 2 solid evenings of attempts to pass a single level, I end up feeling like i need to be one of those people who remembers pi to 250 numbers in order to remember all the sequences.

Cuphead was incredible.
Struggled with few levels but managed to finish it.
Super super fun.

Speaking of the Switch, I'm a fatty now so I've ordered one of these

I go through phases of enjoying mine and then watching it gather dust. Decent novelty value if nothing else.

Is it worth me upgrading from a 360 controller i.e.
to a 'new' xbox controller? i.e.
My use case is Windows gaming btw

I want some wireless headphones to use with my Android TV (Nvidia Shield), mainly for watching TV/films and occasional gaming.
Bluetooth seems to have annoying lags that I can never quite synchronise so I thought a USB wireless gaming headset could do the job (I have a spare USB port) but lots of them seem to have strange limited compatibility with the wireless element only working on a specific console (I assumed they were just like a USB sound card). Anyone on here know whether these kind of things work with Android? Cheers

Which gen of bluetooth does it have out of interest? The newer ones are lag free so you could maybe use an adaptor
-

It's bluetooth 5 and the headphones I've tried are the same but I still have the nagging feeling that it's not quite synchronised when I watch stuff.

The Steelseries Arctis 7p gets my vote, they work on basically everything as you plug in a little usb transmitter. It has a slider to select xbox or everything else. The Arctis 7x only works on xbos despite them being the same price. They're not particularly cheap but very comfy and sound great.

I'd been using the same 360 controller from my console for about 15 years for PC gaming up until I got the Series X last year. The new controller was a little strange at first because it was so similar but noticeably different. Got used to it pretty quickly though. The d-pad is definitely nicer to use and the controller is still comfy and feels sturdy. Can't say it's a groundbreaking must have upgrade on the 360 controller but it's definitely an upgrade on the controller I had been using, but given the age of that one there's no surprise there, so if you're looking for a new controller it's not a bad choice. I find it rinses through batteries mind.

Cheers, the description does say Android so that seems promising.

I bought a board game called Wingspan recently, and in the box was a 30% off code for the digital version on Steam. I’m not going to use the code, anyone want it? First to PM gets it and I’ll edit this post when it’s gone.
Edit - code now given away

I've never really got into them, which is annoying cos they should be right up my street. Got through the first of the recent ones, but didn't make it past the first proper level of the second.
Think it's partly a bad habit of quicksaving too often and reloading when things don't go to plan. Takes the stealthy tension out of it.

I just started replaying Skyrim. Easily the game I've sunk the most time into over the years and possibly the last game I bought full price at release? I've still never completed the main story line...
Loving this at the moment. Never had a stronger ‘just one level more’ for a decade. Still not past the final fight (I hope?!) but can’t see myself stopping before I’ve done it a few times.
