Indeed! Mumbling Harvey Cook, the newsreader who has now finally just about managed to learn how to speak properly after 17 years of reading the news on 6music (why they didn’t ensure he could do this before appointing him to read the news is beyond me, but I guess back in 2003 it was only 1 man and his dog and me tuning in so perhaps it didn’t matter) is now graduating into other bbc radio stations news services as well. So I guess in time honoured fashion they’ve had to get some other mumblers in to replace him...
