Freetrade not allowing US purchases (well, their broker isn’t)

It just shows how simplistic a metric like market cap is.

Doesn't this happen with all the things though? (Brexit, US Constitution, etc, etc)

Hive Mind Question: While talking sensible:
Nothing to add on where to learn, but if it's for fun I think crypto is a more logical option. You'll see insane swings in a day that would take a year in any other market. This means you can have a low entry price and still see meaningful gains. Which is the opposite with the stock market.
Trying to consistently outperform whatever index your in is pretty optimistic. Timing is near impossible, so you'll probably have to spend energy looking for fundamentals, buying low and holding them. More often than not the gains you'll see will be from growth in the market as a whole.

Simplistic but incredibly useful. Especially when fed into more sophisticated measures like enterprise value.

DFV did an interview with WSJ that dropped today and that’s what Reuters and CNBC are referencing. He wasn’t Doxxed.

Freetrade now not allowing buy orders for ‘some US stocks’, because of their provider. Sell orders still allowed. Such B.S. Part of me thinks it’s not their fault, but another thinks they should have contingencies for these circumstances, instead of leaving their customers marooned like this.
