Cable brakes though....

Arguably more hip hop because they don't work as well as hydro.

Paul stem and esoteric shifters not enough?
edit - yellow cables too? I just love this build

That cassette looks practical for actual real life steep hills off road. Therefore under section 3.2.14 of the HHS bylaws I believe it is precluded from HHSGB status.

I'm speechless. Maybe I need an Outback and not a Swiss Cross at all? This is a first gen Outback right?

Yep, they don't make em any more.
Closest thing is the latest Swiss Cross

looks like it yes.
swisscross is very cross -obviously-, higher bb and all... but that wavy left hand seatstay of the og swisscross will always look good. -

I always feel like every Ritchey model is almost the perfect spec for me but falls short on one or two tiny details but this one looks like it could be perfect.
New Outback has far too many bottle mounts for me.
Swiss Cross doesn't quite have the tyre clearance.
Mk1 Outback could be just right! -
• #369
tyre clearance is over !
-
• #370
MK1 outback is perfect. MK2 is too much bikepackey
-
• #371
Ritchey made some weird choices imo
Ascent -> Gen 2 Outback
Gen 1 Swiss Cross -> Gen 2 Swiss Cross
Gen 1 Outback -> Nothing! -
• #372
Fire in the Ritchey thread...
Admittedly very obviously a CX bike...

Touché. I'm surprised I haven't seen a fully HHSGB Swiss Cross build though.
