For a desk i wouldn’t use OSB far too rough, ply or birch ply if you wanna splash out
yes - I think looking into a bit more, you can get a decent finish using epoxy etc, which I can do, but not sure I can be bothered with that much work.
You could get away with a sand and a varnish on a piece of ply for a desk no bother without the need for epoxy if you cba with that.
Remember; if you use epoxy it will rot your brain and you will end up finishing every conversation with "don't forget to like and subscribe".
