What time is it? Watches and horology

I love the look of the Pelagos except for two things that would prevent me from buying:

• main reason would be snowflake hour hand
  
• similar to some Rolex watches, I think they overdo the amount of text on the dial a bit. For me the 500m reference would do just fine
