I’ve always wanted a Speedmaster and really like the retro styling of the FOIS so finally pulled the trigger on one seeing as they’ve now been discontinued. Can’t stop looking at it.

Forstner bracelet ordered yet?

Everyone seems to rave about the Forstner flat link on an FOIS, definitely got the retro look.
I was also looking at Uncle Seiko's bracelets, they do a flat link but also this one which is a bit chunkier.

Yeah, but filling almost any watch with oil would garner the same results. Well, not a mechanical watch obvs...

Inspired by @PawG my speedy is back on bracelet. Fits well today as it's a much nicer 24⁰c. In yesterday's 41 degree heat it was a little too snug...

I feel like my wrist circumference changes quite a bit. Interested to see how it feels in the summer.

After whining about the speedy bracelet for ages now I like it more than the new one 😂

Got the backwards watch on today. After two weeks in the Seamaster 300 a day back in this tells me this is definitely better.

To be fair, he did offer it end of last year together with 2 other watches to help fund the new kitchen IIRC

Stunning watch. And as upmarket tool watches go, its a true tool watch and not in a wanna be way because my-great-great-grandfather-went-to-the-moon-and-therefore-im-an-astronaut way.
