PSA, I just picked up several kilo tubs of the 100% peanuts crunchy stuff Aldi has, from the one on Old Kent Rd. The best and best value imo!

Damn I was in there on Sat and assumed this stuff would be garbage. It's good yeah?

I can confirm that it's great for the cash.

Spangly stickers received, cheers! Now the only non-cycle touring sticker on my bike, but an entirely appropriate addition since all my touring has been fueled by PB. ("English muffins" are a popular commodity in US West Coast convenience stores, even though I've never seen such a thing over here.)

Took a chance on a jar of Marmite PB today... not convinced. Too salty (predictably I suppose).

Not tried it on my morning bage yet though, maybe that’ll be the revelation...

i am a big fan of this stuff. but have been experimenting with mixing my own with different yeast extract and homemade PB. not quite perfected yet.

it's lifechanging

Bought this on the weekend and tried eating it from a jar. Way too salty though weirdly moreish.
Just now tried it on a slice of bread for the first time. Proper nice. Will be buying again.

The bottom of the Pic’s jar was very dry, added sesame oil to loosen it up. Kinda gross on its own but excellent on bread with sriracha.

Here too, great quality!
