Grazie. I am 99% sure is just a load of cosmetic cracking. Will take a closer look once the windows have been replaced (I think the knackered old windows are half the cause). Most of our funds have gone into the new roof and windows so now looking at what I can reasonably do myself. The other render cracks on the main exterior walls I'll likely get someone in for as me up a ladder trying to rake out a crack and man handle a pot of filler is a recipe for disaster. The window sills I can likely do a lot of from inside and at least balance stuff on the sills themselves while working.
Just need a big fuck off ladder though.
I think Murex is the default these days. Fibrex is very useful if you need some additional strength. They all have their different purposes but Murex and Fibrex are the most 'general'.
