The clocks always end up slightly out, it drives me nuts, so I want remotely set next time for sure.
All these devices have a computer in them. It would be easy for manufacturer A to have a time synchronization cable that runs between them and keeps the clocks together. They could even go non-standard so it doesn't work with manufacturer B and keeps you locked in to their products if/when one fails and needs replacing.
