Finally did the body shell for the micro racer, And have some 3D print shock towers to test fit before having them made in Carbon.

Anyone tried ordering 3D printed replacement parts for vintage Tamiya cars? like this Any good?

Aye,

This came with some missing 4wd parts and a broken front suspension plate.

Sourced a replacement 3D print on teh bay. Worked a treat. I guess you have to factor in tolerances and durability but they wouldn't sell many if they didn't work...
