The screen hinge has broken after my 2 year old son sat on it... It now flops open to near 180 degrees rather than coming to the hard stop it had before.
I've looked at ifixit teardowns and the hinge replacement looks very involved.
Has anyone else had the hinge go like this and found any other solution other than spending 2 hours taking it apart?
Battery charge cycle is over 1600, I was going to replace the battery as other than the hinge it still functions perfectly. Would be a shame to ditch it now.
