  • Working at Woodrups I can assure you there will be some good news about the Bob Jackson operation coming. In terms of their prices, as explained previously by myself in this thread, the prices were too low and they were only able to offset their losses on frames and paint with the rent from the retail units below. Once the retail unit revenue was removed from the equation (with the sale of the building), without a massive restructure; it was game over for Bob Jackson as we all know it.

    It has been a rollercoaster couple of months for sure but I think how things have ended up is the best it could have been... we’ll leave the tastefully painted “classic pro team” carbon frames to px.

    Indeed their pricing was way off for too long. It's hard to understand why they didn't increase prices. Maybe a reluctance from the owners to be seen as being greedy or whatever.

    Yeah theres no arguing this is the best outcome for BJ. Probably no one else better placed than Woodrups to do it. Will be interesting to see what direction it takes.
