  • What a combo!

  • Holding up quite well against each other. The wife is on Chin Chin. Also probably not a bad combo.

  • BBNo IPA here that’s following a pale ale from Newtown Park. New brewery to me that are brewing on the old Left Handed Giant kit. Pretty good stuff, will buy more from them

  • Hopefully I didn’t put that idea in your head and you came to that conclusion of your own volition!

  • Wallop! Ultimate pub snack. Although “pub salad” aka a packet of crisps with Tabasco all over them will do in a pinch

  • Tbf I probably should try it in the summertime ! I definitely prefer dark beers during the winter. I had their alternative currency recently and that was really worth the money!

  • Totally with you. I’m mega obsessed with Deya at the mo. Beats everything I’ve had from verdant. Their something goods and saturated in series have been excellent (tho haven’t had the motuka yet). Into the haze is one of my fave beers at the mo ....

  • Got a can of haze in the fridge for this afternoon, it’s one of my favourites of their output too. I’m all over the stouts at this time of year but enjoy the juicy IPAs all year whatever the weather

  • have you tried their stout? it sounds a bit rich for me to have 6 cans of it all to myself ...

heard from their insta that they are doing a porter soon too

  • Nearly grabbed a can last week but went for a couple pales from them that I hadn’t seen before. I’ve heard good things though

  • My last kernel in the stash :'(

  • Deya is my favourite brewery right now too - their Tappy Pils is a great beer (lager)
Got a Senescene and a something good for this evening

  • Went to the shop and glad I did

  • dammit, I'm jealous now.

Haven't been able to find it in either of my local beer shops.

I just had this and it was fab. Now I'm writing a job application ...

  • Ooft, this is great

Can mentions a rye whiskey barrel aged version coming out this year

  • Best of luck! Deya stout is great. Neither maple or pecan jump out as obvious flavours when you taste it but it’s got a nice sweet/nutty/roasty vibe which is spot on in my opinion

  • hmmm ... I might have to have a google for an online place that will sell it as a single and that has other beers I want so I can justify the shipping costs ....

  • Yeah this was really good, im going to grab another can this week.

  • Very disappointing beer day yesterday:
Big Drop alcohol free pale ale. Like a shit traditional lemonade.
    Brewdog Indie. Utterly insipid.
Buxton Grinlow session IPA. Mostly insipid.

  • At the other end of the scale, BA Beets by Yonder was delicious.

  • Join the club. I had a single pint of piss lager.

  • My fridge ran dry, Lidl was the only place i could get to.
John Smiths and their own brew Amber Adder were the only choices for me.
    Any port in a storm.

  • Beetroot must be a winner.
