• I think you’d be surprised how prevalent recreational drugs are in responsible citizens. What substances the government has decided is and is not legal and taxable is not the problem.

  • I don't think I'd be surprised at the number, just thinking aloud as to how the breaking of rules/laws for 'little' things translates to other rules that are fairly easy to ignore and break, like self isolation, lockdown rules, gatherings.
I don't expect drug dealing is done in a particularly socially distanced manner? Mostly cash based?

If you're regularly snorting coke in a club bathroom, I'd bet that you'd be less inclined to follow bans of raves and social gatherings.
Though maybe there is a disconnect about your personal health, and social responsibility?

  • I wonder how true this is. I know plenty of people who enjoy drugs who wouldn't even consider endangering people by going to an eyeball licking piss up at the moment.

  • Theyre young and stupid and don't know the consequences of their actions and have no sense of delayed gratification.

It's not doing coke in a bathroom is the key, I'm sure they could do it at home in their bathrooms if they wanted too.
