Can anyone explain Wolf Tooth Roadlinks to me?
I'm currently running Shimano 105 R7000 with 11-32 at the back with 50/34 up front (and a long cage derailleur). Apparently this is the maximum allowed with R7000 (although many say 11-36 is also fine).
This is great for the current application of 'winter road bike' but it's beginning to dawn on me that I'll need a lot more when the panniers are on.
So.... will a Roadlink allow me run an 11-40 cassette with the same 50/34 chainset?
Main source of confusion is the Wolf Tooth blurb about 1x systems, and the fact that my RD already has something that looks like a Roadlink as part of the design.
