  • Week 3 of the 10k plan done and i swapped yesterdays 1 hr easy run for a easy ride as the weather was nice. This was the first time I've touched my bike in 3 weeks and was worried my cycling power may have suffered but i averaged 195 watts for the 90 mins at 119 bpm which is Z1 for me so thats about a 4-5 bpm improvement on what I'd usually expect to see for a ride like that. I'm pleased and a little relieved with that as the accumulated running fatigue in the legs can make the cycling legs feel heavy but in this case its just a red herring and is actually doing more good than harm.
