If you're looking to get a cheap but lightweight box I can recommend these ex army aluminium catering boxes, you can find them elsewhere for closer to £40-50 which is what I paid.
Obviously you still won't be making the most of the space but you will be able to get up and running quickly and you can put the money you save aside for a Rhino box in the future (I've seen them in the flesh and you can see how they cost so much).
Wooden boxes are a good alternative, we've fitted a couple of Madjax wooden boxes for courier service companies near us, better use of the space than the AluLock boxes and rattle less than the plastic baseboard/BBX side panel combo.
I hate an unnecessary rattle. This bike was far noisier unloaded compared to loaded which did annoy me. I think because the box had split round the base attachments
