Fine suggestions here but after trying various strategies I get the impression that taste is exactly what's missing in this whole affair. He seems very set on aero carbon and the furthest I've been able to tempt him away from this rather boring mantra is an SL7. It's inappropriate and unnecessary and I'm 100% on board with what you're saying but you can't force a horse to drink.
As far as the budget goes, I basically interpret it as he wants the top end of whichever brand he plumps for in the end. The worst thing about it is I can't even write it off as a MAMIL crisis, dude hasn't hit 30 yet (facepalm).

Sarto Lampo Plus is the best suggestion in that case. It's aero, it's carbon and it's so eye-wateringly expensive (£5000+ for f&f) that it will truly test his commitment to the buyer lifestyle.
As previously mentioned by @HK_Berlin you could spec up quite a nice Sarto for that budget...
Alternatively, with a strong grip on the reins of good taste, a Passoni could be lovely if tastefully specced...
It's a funny budget for someone who doesn't seem to have a specific idea of what they want, the potential for tasteless muck increases drastically in tandem with the budget and then when you think about it €10k is a lot of money but it's far from a blank cheque in terms of high-end bespoke stuff...
Do try to dissuade him from aero though. It just looks a bit stupid unless you're actually racing and lightweight is worth more cafe stop points than aero.
