I've missed this in the Rapha thread and at the risk of unmasking myself as an uncouth philistine would there be any chance of a TL;DR on what exactly a burner is?

I think I want one but I don't know why?

Haha it always has been around here! What a nifty bit of kit though, superb idea!

Edit: I'm happy to hold off the list if the Rapha thread list has priority...
