Intrigued by the Nissan story although fear (without evidence) is that state aid has made Nissan toe the line and stay in the country...I don't fancy a situation where global corporations get countries to compete against each other for lowest taxation/laxest regulations any more than they already do.
Maybe the UK could do something with other like-minded countries to establish minimum rules about fair competition, labour practices, other regulations. Like a workers’ union, but for countries.
