Hand built wheels are a minority interest as far as the industry is concerned, fixed is a small niche, track riders using traditional wheels have largely favoured large flange, so that's what became popular in the early 21st century fixie boom.

Fair enough, I was just being grumpy.

Looks like I’ll probably pay over the odds for a Mack rear. Oh well.

For the price of a Mack you could have that Bitex 6-bolt, the conversion axle and enough beer to make you less grumpy 😉🍻
