I think the clearance on these is more, it's 28c with guards. I seriously considered buying one but wanted something a bit more "racey".

Ye Spa aren't always the best at giving all the info on their products, can be a little hard to find that info.

I'd love something that was 853, 30c tyres with guards, but it's quite niche really so it's a custom job.

My niche is 37mm tyres and guards but flexible on the tubing.

Is 128reynolds and 2mm more tyre width worth the money for you to go custom over the spa mono? Similarly, why don't I just buy a Surly cross check? I think I baulked at the seat tube angle geometry for some reason.

I found my cross check quite ‘soft’ at the back so wasn’t ideal for me as a road fixed. You definitely get the winding the frame up on climbs etc.
Is the all day not the answer for this sort of build?

You'd think the allday would also on the shortlist but why does the frame cost £140 more than the spa for no name 4130 (vs reynolds 725) given they appear to have very similar tyre clearance? Why does the pista cost more than double. 'Brand value' I suppose?
