Gave my bass away before moving countries, and I haven't touched one since October. I was lusting over thick strings in the past months, and a few days ago finally I pulled the trigger on a Harley Benton PB-20 SBK, which should arrive within 3 weeks. Reviews say it's crazy value for this amount of money and I fell in love with the black satin finish.
Will swap/paint the pickguard black eventually. Planning to get a set of 55-110 strings and tune it down to C standard and play all sorts of shit-and-mud-sounding doom metal on it. Then when the time and money are both right I'll upgrade the pickups too.
