My biggest peeve with Architects - quote sans VAT.

I am not a business and as such all purchases I make are subject to VAT which I can not claim back at a later date so must be factored in as an overall cost.

For smart folks, that shouldn't be soooo hard to understand.

Aye but it makes the price look cheaper to you and then at the end it’s like a surprise when it’s a lot more. It’s a bit sneaky and shite way to do business imo
