  • I don’t mind the work, it suits me. Don’t mind the long hours either. But I find the endless decision making to be mentally exhausting.

Which tile? What bracket? What colour this? What boiler and how many radiators, size and type? I need a saw, which one should I get, what is it good at, what is it not? Etc

All that sorta shit. I hate that stuff.

  • Yeah that's a crazy amount of work you're doing, make sure you give yourself some good time off. Kitchen is looking amazing though and you are saving thousands.

The decision making is what wears me out too, think im close to melting at the last hurdle so may throw ion the towel and get metro tiles and a LLL print and be done.

  • As mentioned before, decision fatigue is one of the worst parts of a refurb/building project. However much you've planned beforehand there's so much to decide, usually on the spot and it can grind you down. Hard not to make a quick decision you later regret IME.

    Fantastic job so far Dov!
