Any tips for keeping a nice slow pace for those long aerobic runs? Seems a bit of a silly question but all too often find my self just pushing myself a little faster and suddenly Kms gone and the breathing is a fair bit harder! Really trying to build a solid base layer of fitness but too tempting to gun it harder.
More self discipline perhaps?
On the plus side some lovely miles today down the canal to lime house, the tow path by Victoria park was even semi tolerable!!
If you haven’t already. Run without music. You’ll spend a lot more time listening to your breathing and it will regulate better because you can hear it
