Just use a tensioner on any cross frame? It’s pretty niche so you won’t find a lot

Why are there so few sscx type frames?
Because it’s a tiny niche in an already niche branch of cycling. The economics don’t stack up for most bike brands.

do you mean rack/guard mounts? a 'proper' CX frame wouldn't have those as they're not necessary for racing. a REAL proper proper hardcase belgian mud 'n' sand frame wouldn't even have bottle cage mounts, i suppose.

Why are there so few sscx type frames? Looking for discs, mounts and dropout adjust not ebb.
I can only really come up with trek with its adjustable dropouts, surly straggler, wolverine or custom? None are cheap
Did anything come of the much promised new pompino?
