‘Pretend It’s A City’

Yeah watched the first one. Mrs EB (a New Yorker) was in hysterics. I sat stony faced. Lost in translation for me

Lost Horizons, oh boy.....
Yes! Fav album of all time.
Love my new book. I follow Freds newsletter and managed to scoop one of these for free. Got an excellent section all about the lemon jelly artwork.

The little army of people who needlessly clear their driveways of snow
-
• #3091
I guess it melts pretty quick where you are? If we waited for that to happen here it’d be mid April before the driveways were accessible.
-
• #3092
Any fall of note is usually gone in 1-2 days. I have to admire these people, it's pretty hard work, but mostly the drives are flat and snow isn't deep so cars are absolutely ok to drive over it.

If it’s that warm the snow will be heavy for sure, all props.

Went to school with Fred, his sister was in my year... I don't think he even took art, my best mates were in his year and they were the ones that went to art school... He didn't do too badly, did he?

I’m waking at 5:30 ATM to drive my son to work. 16 months ago the deal was he would learn and I would do the donkey work in the mean time. Then his laziness and COVID got in the way - but mostly his laziness. TBH the early morning doesn’t phase me but the expectation that I’m at his service does.
Still, ‘eff all else to commit to right now so..... -

The moment when you’re finally able to start a job that you’ve been planning/thinking about/stressing over for ages.
Wrapping my head around material orders, getting quotes from different places, and all that faff. Then you finally get started and you remember that you actually quite enjoy the work.
And working. Fuck. After a year sat on my arse it’s nice to do some bloody work for once.
I agree with you about Hellmans. nice though!
Probably favour Veganaise, worth persevering with!
Aldi peri peri, like salad cream, not bad though!
