Presumably someone from planning would pay a visit and make an assessment? I genuinely don’t think we’d see much more than we can now through the windows. Especially the kitchen window which is exceptionally wide.
I think that's wishful thinking - people won't stand by a window looking out for hours, but a balcony in summer they might well do.
