It took me ages to get to the final decision... I was gonna buy a frame and build it up, but I'd go way over my budget if I did that... the Rondo ticked all the boxes although it would've been nice to see how Shimano was against SRAM as I had Apex on my old Focus CX bike... have you bought something yet?

So... after much deliberation, umming and aahhhhing, I've ordered my new bike. Decided on a Rondo RUUT AL1 in the end... it's going to be my winter/do it all bike for wood runs and some exploring round Essex... opted for Look MTB pedals as well over XTR spuds and grabbed a pair of Fizik Infinito shoes to finish the job... should be with me by the end of the month.
