Welcome to the club!
That's a nice camera, enjoy! -

Nice pics @YeahNerdz - think both those films suit the "fresh" light really well.

Cheers, lots to figure out! Hopefully I can get some good shots. Most likely shoot in semi auto mode at first so I only have to think of the aperture and not my shutter speed.

A few Ektachrome shots I’ve only just had developed. You really do have to nail the exposure with slide film!

fuji pro 400h is kill
that little niche of wedding photographers who love its overexposed look are going to be unhappy

I previously sold all my lenses (and Pentax K5) and now only use an FA 43mm F1.9 ltd and an FA 77mm F1.8 ltd on my Pentax KX. I usually carry one in my bag and keep the other on the camera. I've always wanted to try the pancake lens but might get one for my girlfriend's MX, as the 50mm makes it a bit chunky.

I never understood that film, just too cold/blue for me. Weird tones.

Jesus fucking Christ loading 120 onto the developing spool is fucking shit.
Took me literally over an hour.
The film is no doubt fucked. Reckon it was moisture left on the spool from last time paired with sweating hands made the film sticky enough for the advancing mechanism to work. Are stainless steel spools any better? Are they compatible with Paterson tanks?

Are stainless steel spools any better?
no way
Are they compatible with Paterson tanks?
yes but no pls
-
• #21797
Spools must be dry, get the AP type with the big guide flaps.
If you fail to get 120 on first time, stop.
Give it 10 minutes.
Cut the leader again.
Try again.
Good luck :)
