Yes, you will need to pay duty and/or tax. The NL -> UK rules are at https://www.gov.uk/goods-sent-from-abroad/tax-and-duty. You need to find the equivalent Dutch rules.
Perhaps start at https://www.government.nl/topics/export-import-and-customs/taxes-on-imported-goods but that rapidly leads to documents only available in Dutch.
Another question about shipping / customs charges.
I live in the netherlands. I bought a second hand bike last year, for £1200, from a UK seller. The bike has been at my parents house since then (approx six months). The plan was to go and get it in person but as the situation worsened that became less of an option.
Now the only real option is to get it it shipped to me, but I'm worried that I'll get charged import tax on it. Anyone any idea of what the deal is? Thanks in advance for any insights.
