  • can't go wrong with boon =]

  • It’s been a while since I had it - remembered I like it but other than that....

I also got one of the overworks (can’t remember the name now) that I assume is in the style of a Flanders red? Interested to see what that’s like.

  • Flanders red can be great - rodenbach is readily available, worth checking out
Caning my last omnipollo andromeda - they can be hit & miss but I rate this =]

  • Duvel easing me into Saturday night, got a big boy Tripel K to follow up with.
    Going to sleep well tonight.

  • Yeah I had a bottle of rodenbach at Christmas - right up my street. And Duchesse too.

Had a can of this the other night. Well. I had a third of a can. What a truly hateful beer :-D

Will be leaving the other can of it on my wall for a passing teenager to take.

  • Buxton King Slayer Double IPA, makes it onto the list of ones I like.

That's certainly one of my favourites from the supermarket offerings

  • Another belter from Verdant.

    Cheeky 6.5%er

  • Can confirm, is vile.

  • Discovered this today - lowgluten.org - made @Chalfie 's evening.

  • And now for my next number, I’d like to return to the classics.

  • Weird in what way? I've not been particularly convinced by the BA lagers I've had, and I'm normally a fan of funky sours etc.

In other news, I had a bottle of Dragon Stout yesterday evening for the first time in years. I'd forgotten how tasty it is; not particularly complex, but pretty well balanced, and great as a nightcap - the half-pint nip bottle is the perfect size for this kind of thing.

  • This is lovely.
